We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our team, our new Head Nurse… Emma Dudley! Yes, you read that right, our previous head nurse, Emma C has been replaced with a new head nurse Emma D. We promise, it’s a different Emma, but just as passionate about providing top-notch care for our furry patients.
Emma brings a wealth of experience in veterinary nursing and a genuine love for animals of all shapes and sizes. She’s particularly passionate about patient comfort and client education, ensuring every visit is as smooth and stress-free as possible. Her dedication and warm approach have already made a fantastic impression on our team and the pets we care for.

“I graduated with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2017 and have been lucky to gain experience in referral medicine along the way. I also spent some time living in London, working as a locum vet nurse while travelling around Europe.
I’m a hands-on, passionate nurse who genuinely loves what I do—whether that’s caring for patients, supporting their humans, or being part of a great team.
Now based in Christchurch and excited to put down roots, meet new people, and explore everything the South Island has to offer (on and off the clock!).
In my spare time, you’ll usually find me bouldering, hiking, or spending time with friends.”
