Naomi Van Breugel

I graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Science (Zoology and Conservation Biology) in 2016 and moved to Christchurch from Australia 2 years later in 2018 with my partner Jeremy. Having always wanted to work with animals and having worked in various wildlife sanctuaries in Australia, a career in the veterinary industry was inevitable.

I joined the HVC team in October 2022 as their receptionist after over 15 years working in various admin and PA roles around my studies, and I thoroughly enjoy working with this amazing team. I enjoy the variety that my reception role brings and getting to build relationships with all our patients and their families.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking, going to the gym, reading and am an avid photographer. I also enjoy spending time with my partner, our 3 cats and our giant puppy. We also foster for Kitty Cottage Rescue and find that incredibly rewarding.
